As a Behavior Technician, you will implement personalized behavior intervention plans, monitor client progress, and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team focused on achieving measurable outcomes. 📝 What You'll Do
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Use ABA principles to support children on the autism spectrum and with other developmental disabilities.
- Data Collection: Record behavioral data to monitor progress and guide clinical decisions.
- Support Daily Living Activities: Assist clients with grooming, feeding, and toileting (ADLs).
- Skill Development: Facilitate acquisition of social and skill-building goals tailored to each client.
- Maintain Documentation: Keep accurate clinical records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate: Work with BCBAs, families, and school teams to update and refine care plans.
- Use Your Spanish Skills: Communicate directly with clients and families — this fluent interaction is essential, not optional.
🎯 What We're Looking For
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English: Essential for effective communication.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities: ABA experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of data collection & behavior management strategies: Familiarity with clinical documentation.
- Comfort assisting with ADLs: Follows structured intervention protocols with patience.
- Reliable and invested: Genuine dedication to client progress.
- HIPAA familiarity: Knowledge of medical records standards is preferred.
