Role Overview
- Position: B2B Sales Representative / Business Development
- Type: Permanent, full-time, direct-hire W2 role
- Compensation: Base salary + full benefits + uncapped commission (including a guaranteed non-recoverable draw for the first 12 months) + residuals
- Location: Field (outside) sales targeting small- and medium-sized businesses
- Sales Cycle: Short, with multiple deals per month
What You'll Be Selling
Promote Clover, an industry-leading cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) platform used by over 700,000 merchants and processing more than $330 billion in transactions. The platform features:
- POS hardware & software for card, mobile wallet, and contactless payments
- Business management tools: inventory, reporting, customer loyalty
Your Territory & Responsibilities
- Manage a territory encompassing multiple branches from established partner banks
- Build relationships with business bankers to generate referrals and close deals
- Self-source new opportunities to complement partner pipelines
Sales Activities & Goals
- Conduct on-site product demos and presentations to showcase how Clover can streamline operations and increase revenue
- Drive new business by generating leads, building pipelines, and closing deals
- Manage existing relationships and grow your territory through proactive outreach and excellent outside sales execution
- Full ownership of the sales process: prospecting, referral generation, and closing
- Achieve quota/KPI targets and turn around underperforming accounts
- Build lasting client and partner relationships, early challenge identification, and proactive growth solutions
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven outside sales experience with a track record of hitting quotas
- Ability to work with provided leads and independently build a pipeline
- Strong closing skills and hunter mentality
- Excellent interpersonal skills and results ownership
