The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced AV Localization Specialist to join our UCAN Marketing Localization Production team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee Project Management and Global Video Localization of Netflix’s marketing assets, including trailers, featurettes, and social media videos. This position requires strong project management skills, expertise in Motion GFX, and a deep understanding of post production and localization workflows across various AV formats. 🚀

The Role

Reporting to the UCAN Sr. Manager Localization Post Production, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of Localization Specialists managing Netflix’s AV marketing campaigns worldwide.

🔧 Project Management

  • Own and manage localization for marketing AV assets in global priority titles.
  • Collaborate with AV Producers, Marketing Operations, Globalization, Engineering, and external vendors on strategy and daily tasks.
  • Oversee end-to-end localization workflows using internal video production and translation tools.
  • Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors globally.
  • Ensure partners are updated on brand guidelines and delivery specifications.
  • Address critical QC issues and ensure graphics are error-free prior to delivery.

🖥️ Technical Skills

  • Expertise in complex Motion Graphics and versioning, advising on social media videos and TV commercials.
  • Serve as technical liaison among AV Post Production, Globalization, QC, Engineering, and external agencies.
  • Utilize tools such as After Effects, Cinema 4D, Illustrator, and Photoshop to localize graphics in up to ~35 languages worldwide.
  • Partner with development teams to explore new workflow enhancements and AI tools.

Qualifications 🎓

  • 5+ years of creative project management and hands-on execution experience in entertainment marketing, broadcast, post production, or episodic TV.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with focus on After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Strong knowledge of Cinema 4D.
  • Fast learner of new software and tools.
  • Expertise in typography, font management, and AV post-production workflows, including codecs, frame rates, and HD/4K standards.
  • Familiarity with advertising specs for platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok; broadcast and theatrical experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of AV finishing workflows: VFX, color correction, sound mixing.
  • Experience with versioning in character languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Hindi, Greek.

Compensation & Benefits 💼

The role offers an annual salary with flexible options for compensation, including salary and stock options, within a market range of $70.00-$90.00/hour. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits such as:
