With a primary focus on Chinese cultural relics and artworks, the company has expanded globally. Our US satellite office in New York is seeking a motivated, bilingual intern to assist in our operations and learn about the dynamic auction world. 🌏✨

Job Summary

Work closely with China Guardian USA’s North America Chief Representative and Account Officer to engage with US clients and support the business functions of our specialist departments in Beijing and Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Manage Social Media Accounts 📱: Handle Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn by creating and transcribing promotional content, increasing engagement, and growing our follower base.
• Design Promotional Materials 🎨: Create e-newsletters, holiday cards, and other local marketing collateral.
• Client Support 🤝: Respond to daily inquiries, liaise between clients and specialists, and assist clients through the initial auction process.
• Operational Support 🏢: Aid in daily auction activities and office administration tasks.
• Market Research 💹: Stay informed on current art market trends and emerging developments to provide timely reports.
• Office Maintenance 🧹: Maintain a clean and organized workspace on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Educational Background 🎓: Bachelor's degree in Art History, Fine Art, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Bilingual Skills 🗣️: Fluent in Chinese and English (required).
• Availability 🗓️: Able to work 3-5 days per week in our New York office.
• Technical Skills 💻: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and relevant design tools.
• Skills & Traits 🌟: Strong organizational abilities, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and social media management experience.
