Position Summary ⚖️

We are seeking a dynamic junior or mid-level associate with Commercial Litigation experience to join our Technology Disputes group in Los Angeles.

As part of our team, you will:

• Handle sophisticated issues including privacy, data protection, intermediary liability, defamation, consumer protection, advertising, and more.
• Work with leading tech companies on disputes spanning multiple jurisdictions worldwide.
• Develop and execute case strategy with leanly staffed teams and coordinate with local counsel globally.
• Draft client advice, briefs, and provide expert guidance on legal and regulatory matters.
• Address novel legal issues, providing full-service support on regulatory, compliance, and criminal matters.

The role demands good judgment, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively on all litigation stages from initial complaints to witness preparation. Key Responsibilities 📝

• Develop litigation strategies and draft pleadings for global disputes spanning data protection, defamation, IP infringement, and more.
• Navigate regulatory investigations and draft submissions to international data protection and consumer agencies.
• Advise clients on risks related to new products, policies, and legislation worldwide.
• Analyze reports concerning unlawful social media content or moderation issues.
• Research and summarize laws impacting social media platforms, including liability and hate speech laws.

Qualifications & Skills 🎓

• 2-4 years of experience in Commercial Litigation, ideally at a law firm
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for diverse audiences
• Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
• Meticulous drafting skills with an eye for detail
• Commercial awareness and intellectual curiosity
• Proactive, resourceful, and a team player
• Foreign language proficiency (e.g., German, French, Italian, Hebrew) is a plus
• Juris Doctor or equivalent; admitted to the bar in good standing
