About the Role
As an Associate Relationship Banker, you'll represent our brand with hospitality and leverage the latest banking solutions and technology to provide friendly, attentive service. Your role is vital in building lasting relationships with clients and contributing to the success of your branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Put clients first — deliver attentive, friendly service and create a welcoming environment 😊.
- Engage in consultative communication — ask questions, listen, build trust, and anticipate clients' needs.
- Educate and connect clients to technology — leverage tools like Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to meet their banking needs anytime, anywhere.
- Meet with clients — in person or over the phone to understand financial goals and recommend tailored products and services.
- Learn and collaborate — quickly acquire knowledge of products, services, and procedures; connect clients with specialists for complex financial needs.
- Perform branch operations — manage cash devices such as ATMs and vaults following all policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries, with proven success in client acquisition and relationship growth.
- Exceptional communication skills — adept at both in-person and phone interactions, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse client needs.
- Problem-solving skills — resolve client issues efficiently with attention to detail for a consistent client experience.
- Risk compliance awareness — operate within risk parameters and complete required training to meet regulatory standards.
- Educational requirements: High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- Availability: Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- College degree or military experience preferred.
- Experience with banking policies and regulations — adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements.
