Key Responsibilities 🎯
- Act as a liaison: Collaborate with global localization teams to establish and maintain project scope, schedule, and milestone processes throughout the lifecycle.
- Coordinate project logistics: Manage day-to-day tasks, disseminate information, and support projects to successful completion.
- Support localization workflows: Assist project sponsors in resolving issues and improving localization processes, including documentation and tool adaptation.
- Maintain relationships: Communicate with overseas and domestic developers regarding localization efforts during project lifecycle.
- Asset and cultural management: Maintain databases to track localization data and ensure cultural appropriateness of assets.
- Budget monitoring: Oversee budgets and consult stakeholders on additional funding needs.
- Schedule and language progress tracking: Collaborate with language leads to monitor remaining work and manage schedule adjustments.
- Collaboration & communication: Facilitate communication with internal teams and resolve cultural and localization issues.
- Pre-production review: Utilize software to understand project scope deeply.
- Post-project documentation: Develop post-mortem reports and archive project materials.
- Optional testing & promotion: Test games, provide feedback, and support product demonstrations, videos, livestreams, and promotional activities.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information securely and responsibly.
- Travel: Travel up to 10%, including international trips.
- Content management: Translate, generate, and centralize development materials, specifications, and communications.
- Communication facilitation: Interpret and translate during meetings, calls, interviews, and presentations with developers.
Qualifications & Requirements 🎓
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination or localization.
- Experience working with global teams and knowledge of console, PC, and mobile gaming markets.
- Exceptional organizational, customer service, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of Japanese and American cultures, along with Japanese business practices.
- Familiarity with Nintendo properties, history, and products.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite; ability to learn proprietary software.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile) preferred.
- Software development experience is a plus.
- Valid passport is mandatory.
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Communication, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Position Details & Benefits 🚀
This is a hybrid position based in Redmond, WA. Regular onsite work following the division’s schedule is required; fully remote work is not available at this time.
The role offers a competitive base pay rate of $37.26 - $59.62 per hour, with potential semi-annual performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including:
