Responsibilities 🎯

• Draft and review employment and commercial agreements
• Provide accurate, relevant, and timely legal advice on employment matters
• Review and negotiate client and commercial contracts; support internal employment compliance
• Handle various legal employment issues and projects as they arise
• Contribute to product-led developments within Deel’s offerings

Desired Skills and Competencies 🧠

• Minimum of 2+ years experience as an Italian attorney or in-house legal counsel advising corporate clients in Italy
• Strong expertise in Italian employment law
• Experience advising on cross-border employment issues
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business advice
• Balance legal risk with business priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective across diverse teams
• Experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional organization is a plus
• High ethical standards and sound judgment handling sensitive issues
• Interest in working for a tech company
