The Role
The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management, sales activities, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This role involves collaborating with retail partners to process credit applications and web orders, converting them into Acima credit customers. Responsibilities also include reviewing lease applications, promoting leasing benefits, and driving sales conversions. The position is based in one of our retail partner store locations.
Compensation 💰
The hourly pay rate ranges from $16.62 - $18.96, with potential bonuses and incentives based on performance, paid out monthly. To qualify for bonuses, you must be actively employed and meet all plan requirements, subject to applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
- 🛍️ Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk-in channels
- 📝 Listen to and fulfill all customer needs promptly
- 📚 Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, benefits, application process, and payments
- 🔑 Close sales by converting applications for in-store and web orders
- 🤝 Collaborate with retail partners on store operations
- 📈 Report and communicate store performance with the Store Manager
Customer Service
- 🤝 Build partnerships with store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers
- 🛑 Address and resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction
- 🌟 Foster a positive work environment to support coworker retention
Job Requirements
- 🔞 Must be at least 18 years old
- 🎓 High school diploma or GED
- 🗣️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
- 💡 Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus
- 🕒 Organized with strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
- 🌙 Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ✅ Consistent in-person attendance

Expected Hours of Work ⏰
This is a full-time position. The work schedule varies throughout the week, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate store hours.
Physical Demands
This role requires regular talking, listening, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day to perform job duties effectively.
