Overview

The Federal Savings Bank, a proud five-time recipient of the “50 Best Mortgage Companies to Work For” award, is looking for a highly motivated individual to be a key frontliner in our Retail Mortgage division. This position requires candidates to be fully fluent in both English and Spanish, with a focus on excellent customer service and operational support.

Location & Work Schedule

Applicants must reside within a commutable distance to our North Miami office and be available to work onsite from Monday to Friday.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Vice President by acting as the primary liaison among customers, internal teams, realtors, and title companies 🤝
• Help manage the Senior Vice President’s pipeline, coordinating with Processing, Underwriting, and Closing teams for timely loan closures 📈
• Set and maintain clear expectations with all loan stakeholders
• Structure loans in the Encompass loan origination system 💻
• Analyze loan packages for completeness to meet investor guidelines
• Prepare mortgage applications and disclosures for signing ✍️
• Complete the bank’s customer service training and apply learned skills daily
• Consistently deliver exceptional service to borrowers, realtors, and builders to create “Wow!” moments 🌟
• Support marketing efforts by leveraging the Senior Vice President’s CRM to maximize past client and referral business

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written, is mandatory
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Mortgage Banker Assistant or Loan Processor
• Ability to calculate income, including self-employed scenarios
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, FHA, and VA loan guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong professional communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Creative, proactive mindset with excellent organizational and time-management skills
