Position Overview: Assistant Manager 🎯

As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, support and motivate your team, and ensure customers receive exceptional eye care and shopping experiences—leaving with both clear vision and stylish looks. And yes—enjoy Sundays off! 🚪🙌

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do 🔑

  • Drive Success: Achieve profit, sales, and performance goals aligned with National Vision standards.
  • Monitor Results: Track sales against budgets to ensure targets are met.
  • Customer Service: Guarantee all store associates deliver top-tier service.
  • Operational Awareness: Keep an eye on same-day service using the “Ready When Promised” production board.
  • Communication & Reporting: Collaborate with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office, providing necessary store reports.
  • Partnerships: Develop relationships with doctors and serve as the liaison between them and store staff.
  • Promotions & Merchandising: Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual displays are effectively implemented and communicated.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and support Opticians and Sales Associates in daily tasks.
  • Staffing Support: Assist in staffing decisions, recruiting, and retaining talented team members.
  • Performance Motivation: Inspire associates to surpass standards and achieve excellence.

Qualifications – Are You the Right Fit? 🎓🤝

  • Fluent in both English & Spanish
  • Experience in optical sales; supervising experience is preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proven leader with the ability to coach and build relationships
  • Understanding of store operations and success standards
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Clear and concise communicator, adept at problem-solving and reporting
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial reports
