- Salary: $28.72 - $30.23 per hour

Chinatown Community Development Center, established in 1977, is a private non-profit dedicated to fostering a vibrant, inclusive community. We manage approximately 36 affordable housing buildings serving over 4,500 residents, including seniors, single adults, formerly homeless individuals, and families across San Francisco’s Chinatown, Tenderloin, Western Addition, and Polk Gulch neighborhoods. 🏘️🌁

What You Will Do
Property Management 🏢
- Assist with overall building operations alongside the Property Manager
- Utilize Yardi for report printing and re-certification data entry
- Create and maintain tenant files, applicant waitlists, and transfer lists
- Handle paperwork related to housing applications and rent collection
- Assist with bank deposits and processing applications, move-ins, move-outs, and certifications
- Help compile tenant information for monthly and annual reports such as Vacancy and PSR reports
- Manage building operations in the Property Manager’s absence
Tenant Relations 🤝
- Educate residents on regulations, lease provisions, and house rules
- Address tenant requests, disputes, and emergencies
- Support tenants and perform duties for smooth building operations
- Assist the Property Manager as needed
- Forward accommodation requests and fair housing complaints to the 504 Coordinator promptly
Office Management 🖇️
- Process applications, photocopy, fax, and file documents
- Handle invoices and submit for approval
- Manage daily mail and incoming calls
- Order office supplies and assist with maintenance work orders and notices
- Maintain organization of the front entrance, lobby, and adjoining areas

Minimum Qualifications 📜
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
- Two (2) years of prior experience in residential property management
- Detail-oriented with experience processing paperwork
- Bilingual in Cantonese and Mandarin
- Sensitivity to issues facing low-income, disabled, and elderly populations
Preferred Qualifications 🌟
- Experience with low-income or affordable residential property management
- Prior experience using YARDI Voyager
- Knowledge of affordable housing regulations
- Experience with recertification and vacancy processing
