🍼 Infant Care Assistant Position Overview
As an Assistant Caregiver, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing space for infants aged 3 to 18 months. If you are passionate about early childhood development and enjoy working with young children, this is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules
- Support the Lead Caregiver in fostering a calm, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Ensure health, safety, and well-being of all infants at all times
- Engage infants through age-appropriate activities, sensory play, and positive interactions
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to hygiene standards in the infant room
- Follow all licensing regulations, school policies, and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with infants (preferred)
- Patience, gentleness, and attentiveness
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliability, responsibility, and punctuality
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check (required)
- Background check already completed is a strong plus
