🎯 MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE
The Area Manager is responsible for executing strategies to develop sales and maximize regional profits, enhance market share, and uphold the impeccable image of LVMH P&C brands across markets. This role entails full accountability for managing budgets and P&L, ensuring cost and revenue optimization. The manager fosters strong partnerships with retailers, manages key accounts, and maintains optimal stock levels to prevent out-of-stock situations. Managing approximately 3,000 SKUs across all brands, they will also drive team performance, focusing on top-tier and potential retail doors within their region. 🚀
🛠 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position encompasses various functions across LVMH Beauty Brands, with responsibilities tailored to specific brand requirements:
💰 Budget Process
- Develop sales and stock projections (SI & SO) for each fiscal period.
- Create a Top Door Plan per airport with targeted retail & trade activities, sales team actions, and investments.
- Set monthly sell-out targets aligned with regional objectives and projected sell-in goals.
🛍 Sell-out & Sell-in Management
- Achieve sell-out targets and effectively implement top-door action plans.
- Coordinate purchase planning with operators, ensuring alignment with sales targets.
- Monitor monthly payments to prevent order blockages due to payment issues or credit limits.
📦 Inventory Management
- Optimize stock levels at main airports through assortment adaption and implementation with DFA teams.
- Follow-up and negotiate timely placement of new product orders.
- Develop action plans for slow-moving or discontinued items, aligned with brand strategies.
- Adapt assortment catalogs based on regional passenger profiles and DFA requirements.
- Negotiate and implement the TRADE event calendar, ensuring ROI and sales protection.
- Coordinate with Architecture and Visual Merchandising teams to uphold brand image in stores, including managing the Dior VM coordinator's development.
📊 P&L Management
- Oversee DFA P&L for all brands, ensuring financial objectives are met.
👥 Team Management
- Directly manage the DFA Retail Manager and Dior Visual Merchandising Analyst.
- Indirectly oversee Panama & Punta Cana Supervisors through the retail manager.
- Motivate teams, define training needs, and support career development.
🔑 PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
- Entrepreneurial, dynamic sales professional with 5–7 years of experience in luxury or beauty retail.
- Minimum of 5 years in sales, key account management, and team leadership.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Hands-on retail experience, with a strong understanding of KPIs and in-store coaching.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and business planning abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-brand, matrix environment.
- Outstanding organizational and human skills.
