What We Look For In an Arabic Tutor
🔍 Mastery of Arabic Language & Culture
- Deep knowledge of Arabic script
- Understanding of root-pattern morphology, including trilateral roots
- Proficiency in noun and verb conjugation
- Knowledge of case marking, Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) syntax, and regional dialects
- Vocabulary building skills and reading comprehension
- Strong cultural literacy and awareness of regional nuances
🧠 Conceptual Teaching & Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to explain complex topics such as verb forms, hamza rules, and distinctions between MSA and colloquial Arabic
- Skill in guiding students through Arabic reading, writing, and grammar
- Experience in teaching verb conjugation across ten forms, noun-adjective agreement, and idafa constructions
- Connecting written MSA with spoken dialects to enhance real-world communication skills
