Upwork Is Hiring An Arabic Translator And Writer
Scope of Work
We are seeking talented individuals to translate (and occasionally write) content from English to Arabic.
- Topics include reviews of HR software, time-tracking law articles, and more.
- We prioritize quality over quantity, and do not impose word count contracts.
Workflow
Join a dynamic team of approximately 15 members who collaborate via:
- Slack messaging
- Daily meetings — a great opportunity to meet colleagues and raise any issues.
Interview Process
Prospective team members must schedule and attend a 60-minute video interview with camera on, which includes a live assessment.
The easiest way to coordinate is to send a quick message on UpWork Messenger saying you're available. If the other party is free, the interview can be arranged within minutes.
Work Hours
Initial contracts typically start at 20 hours per week.
- You can choose your working hours freely.
- However, every weekday at 4:45 PM Malaysia Time, you are required to attend a 15-minute team meeting with camera on.
Note: If you are based in the Americas, you are not required to attend this meeting.
Performance & Assessment
Your work will undergo continuous evaluation:
- If your output exceeds your hourly rate, you'll be eligible for a pay raise.
- If your output falls below expectations, there may be consequences.
Quality factors include the depth of research and the quality of writing — longer, well-researched articles tend to require more time, which we understand and evaluate accordingly.
Legal & Ownership
All created content will belong to us permanently.
