About the Role

As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing personalized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role involves using evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills and reduce interfering behaviors.

What You'll Do

• Implement individualized intervention strategies under BCBA guidance 🧠
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills 📚
• Reduce challenging behaviors using proven techniques 🔧
• Engage actively in movement-based activities — you’ll be on your feet quite a bit! 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️
• Contribute to creating a positive impact on children and their families ❤️

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and team-oriented 🤝
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis testing (if not already certified within the past year) 🩺
• Pass pre-employment background check 🔍
• Physical ability to sit, squat, bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
