🔍 Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Arabic language professionals with current security clearance to serve in translation, transcription, and interpretation roles for government support projects. This is a travel-only position based in Fairfax, VA, with up to 25% travel outside the continental United States.

📝 What You’ll Get to Do

• Utilize Arabic linguistic and analytical skills for mission-driven assignments
• Translate and transcribe intermediate to advanced-level materials such as technical manuals, foreign language periodicals, and audio files into correct American English grammar
• Support CONUS and OCONUS operations either as a team member or lead linguist
• Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, as well as transcription/translation of printed and audio source materials
• Analyze and report on translated foreign language source material
• Ensure quality control over junior linguists' work
• Prepare and maintain databases of translated data and scan intercepted information to determine relevance to mission goals

🎯 Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
• Ability to pass an advanced English language test
• Bachelor’s Degree
• OMS Travel Certification
• Scoring ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation tests
• Minimum of three (3) years' professional translation, transcription, or interpretation experience
• Deep understanding of geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural aspects of the target language areas
• Proficiency with MS Office and internet research tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous military experience
• Knowledge of regional dialects
• Experience with consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation

💰 Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $86,600 - $181,800. Compensation considers factors such as location, experience, skills, and certifications. We offer competitive benefits including healthcare, wellness programs, retirement plans, paid time off, continuing education, and family support services.
