We are seeking an experienced Arabic language reviewer/editor to ensure the quality and accuracy of AI-translated educational materials tailored for Gulf-region schools. This role demands expertise in formal Modern Standard Arabic and a keen eye for educational terminology and tone.

About the Project 📚

TA39 is an innovative AI platform supporting K–12 teachers across IB, AP, CBSE, and IGCSE schools in the Gulf region. The platform assists educators in generating and reviewing student feedback.

Currently, approximately 35 pages of Arabic content—comprising articles on educational best practices, teacher guides, assessment tools, instructional worksheets, and UI terminology—require expert human review for quality assurance.

What You Will Do 📝

• Review each page by comparing the Arabic content with the English source material
• Identify and record issues related to:
  • Grammar and syntax errors
  • Awkward or mechanical phrasing
  • Terminology inconsistencies
  • Meaning drift or mistranslations
  • Unnatural educational language
  • Inconsistent glossary usage
• Maintain records of corrections in a shared spreadsheet

Important: Two-Pass Workflow ⚙️

This project follows a strict two-pass review process:

Pass 1 — Corrections (Mandatory) ✅

• Address incorrect meanings, grammar mistakes, mistranslations, and terminology issues
• Make conservative edits that stay close to the original English source

Pass 2 — Refinements (Optional) ✨

• Enhance tone, flow, naturalness, readability, and idiomatic phrasing
• This step is separated to serve AI training and calibration purposes

The Ideal Candidate 🎯

• Native Arabic speaker
• Proficient in formal Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)
• Comfortable reading and understanding professional English
• Familiar with educational and pedagogical terminology
• Detail-oriented with the ability to preserve precise meaning
• Not overly aggressive in rewriting content

Bonus points for: Curriculum or teaching experience, editing background, familiarity with Gulf-region education, or translation quality assurance expertise.
