About the Role
You will be an essential part of a newly established Identity & Health Operations Center, responsible for supporting approximately 30 hospital groups across Germany.
The center delivers centralized operational services for identity management, security, and infrastructure in a healthcare setting. Your responsibilities cover support tiers, DevOps activities, configuration management, and the deployment and operation of ServiceNow, the central platform for IT service management. A significant part of this role involves integrating AI Operator technologies to drive automation and boost daily operational productivity.
Your Responsibilities
🔧 1st Level Service Desk & Operations
- Provide first-level support during regular office hours, including participation in on-call rotations
- Act as the initial point of contact for incidents, service requests, and alerts
- Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution efforts
- Escalate complex issues to 2nd and 3rd level teams when necessary
- Create, update, and manage tickets within ServiceNow following established procedures
- Ensure accurate documentation, categorization, and prioritization of tickets
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and stakeholders
🤖 AI Trainer / AI Operator Support
- Support the training and improvement of AI Operator solutions
- Maintain and structure knowledge articles, runbooks, and SOPs in ServiceNow
- Assist with AI-assisted ticketing, classification, and automation use cases
- Provide feedback to DevOps and engineering teams for workflow optimization
- Help onboard colleagues to AI-supported processes and tools
🖥️ Technical Environment Support
- Perform basic troubleshooting and understanding of:
- Network technologies (routing, basic network flows)
- Firewalls and security concepts
- Windows and Linux operating systems
- Hypervisors (virtualization environments)
- Storage systems
- Support configuration changes and operational tasks following established protocols
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in Service Desk/1st Level Support or IT Operations
- Strong German language skills (B2 level or higher)
- Basic ITSM experience with ServiceNow
- Knowledge of networking and Windows systems
Additional Preferences
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Request, Problem, or Knowledge Management
- Proficiency in English
- Interest in AI-driven operations, automation, or knowledge management
- Previous exposure to healthcare IT or regulated environments
- Understanding of DevOps and configuration management
