Position Highlights: AP Accountant 📊

As an AP Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Swiss accounting team, primarily handling accounts payable processes for the Swiss market. Your contributions will ensure accurate financial records and smooth closing activities.

Your Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping: Manage transactions on the general ledger and sub-ledger levels
• Support Swiss market accounting: VAT reconciliation and related activities
• Account Analysis: Clear open items to keep financial statements current
• Closing Activities: Participate in monthly and quarterly financial closing processes
• Process Improvement: Handle ad-hoc tasks related to process optimization and data quality
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports
• Vendor Management: Maintain vendor master data and process payments
• Vendor Follow-up: Track and follow up on outstanding payments

• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within an international environment, with Swiss market exposure
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Result-driven attitude
• Proficiency with accounting systems and data management
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Advanced Excel skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) plus proficiency in German or French
• Good knowledge of SAP
