Your Role: Analyst, Business Strategy & Analytics

As part of our team, you'll deliver critical data, reports, and analytics that power organizational decisions. You'll collaborate with sales, marketing, and corporate partnerships to fulfill requests, improve forecasts, and identify opportunities. 🤝

Key Responsibilities

  • 🔹 Design and maintain dashboards to track essential metrics for decision-makers across departments.
  • 🔹 Craft compelling narratives from data to highlight performance, opportunities, and outcomes.
  • 🔹 Generate fan insights through market research, surveys, syndicated data, and other channels.
  • 🔹 Handle recurring and ad hoc data/report requests accurately and promptly.
  • 🔹 Serve as a key resource for solving business problems via analytics and process design.
  • 🔹 Monitor digital performance metrics, including streaming analytics for Padres.TV.
  • 🔹 Contribute to strategic projects, model creation, validation, and process automation.
  • 🔹 Prepare and present reports to audiences with varying technical expertise.
  • 🔹 Work independently or collaboratively on projects of varying complexity, with guidance on complex tasks.
  • 🔹 Perform additional duties as needed.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • 🔹 Ability to communicate process, decisions, and results effectively to diverse audiences.
  • 🔹 Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau (preferred), PowerBI, Looker, or Domo.
  • 🔹 Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • 🔹 Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM) and basic office equipment.
  • 🔹 Strong verbal and written communication skills, fostering collaboration and respect.
  • 🔹 Maintains professionalism, discretion, integrity, and accountability.
  • 🔹 Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

  • 🔹 Minimum age of 18 years.
  • 🔹 Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, business, finance, computer science) or equivalent experience.
  • 🔹 Experience with relational databases and scripting/query languages such as SQL, R, Python, MATLAB, or Stata.
  • 🔹 Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
  • 🔹 Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
  • 🔹 Ability to travel within the ballpark, lift up to 25 pounds, and access various areas for extended periods during games and events.
  • 🔹 Successfully pass all pre-employment background checks.

Compensation & Benefits 💰

The hourly rate for this full-time role ranges from $24.04 to $26.45, contingent upon experience and qualifications, complying with California pay transparency laws.
