About The Role

We are seeking skilled Italian language specialists to evaluate and enhance AI systems trained on Italian content. Your expertise will directly influence how AI understands, generates, and teaches Italian, impacting millions of language learners globally.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
• Apply expert judgment to identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally authentic Italian
• Provide structured feedback to strengthen AI tutoring and language-learning models
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian
• Experience teaching Italian or evaluating learner language
• Strong written communication skills in both Italian and English (C1/C2)
• Solid familiarity with CEFR frameworks and learner speech patterns
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
• Attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing
• Familiarity with AI-powered language tools or educational technology
• Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
