About the Position 📌

This role focuses on supporting affordable housing compliance during the lease-up process, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills. Based in Queens, NY, you will collaborate with leasing, property management, and compliance teams to ensure smooth application processing.

Salary & Compensation 💰

Hourly Rate: $20/hr - $22/hr

Key Responsibilities 📝

  • Support affordable housing compliance efforts by reviewing applicant documentation.
  • Verify income, assets, and household eligibility for applicants.
  • Manage and organize large volumes of sensitive data in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready compliance files.
  • Update applicant and tenant information in property management systems.
  • Communicate regularly with applicants to schedule appointments, answer questions, and follow up on documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with Leasing, Property Management, and Compliance teams to resolve discrepancies and keep applications on track.

Required Qualifications & Skills ⭐

  • Fluency in Mandarin (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for thorough document review.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications 💡

  • Previous experience in real estate.
  • Familiarity with Yardi software is a plus.
  • Willingness to work overtime if necessary.

Educational Requirements 🎓

Bachelor’s degree is required for consideration.
