Position Overview 🎯

The Administrative Support (Mandarin Fluency) will play a vital role in maintaining affordable housing compliance during lease-up processes. Responsibilities include reviewing applicant documentation, verifying income and assets, and managing household eligibility. This role requires meticulous data management, collaboration with various teams, and frequent communication with applicants to ensure a smooth application process. The position is based in Queens, NY.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Support (Mandarin Fluency) 📋

  • Support affordable housing compliance efforts.
  • Manage and organize large volumes of sensitive applicant and tenant information following company standards.
  • Maintain detailed, audit-ready files.
  • Input and update applicant and tenant data within property management systems.
  • Communicate regularly with applicants to schedule appointments, answer questions, and follow up on documents.
  • Collaborate with Leasing, Property Management, and Compliance teams to resolve discrepancies and keep applications progressing smoothly.

Required Skills & Experience 🌟

  • Fluency in Mandarin (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and thorough review skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple files and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and adaptability to new systems.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience 👍

  • Prior experience in real estate.
  • Familiarity with Yardi software is a plus.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Educational Requirements 🎓

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
