Position Overview
Oxford College of Emory University invites applications for the Adjunct Instructor of Arabic position, starting January 5, 2026. The role involves teaching language courses across different semesters to motivated undergraduate students.
Teaching Responsibilities
- Deliver 1 course in the winter/spring semester (Arabic 102).
- Offer 1-2 courses in the fall semester, which may include Arabic 101 and 201, depending on demand.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in Arabic or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching Arabic language courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as the instructor of record for in-person undergraduate Arabic courses.
- Proven teaching effectiveness in Arabic.
