The Department of World Languages and Cultures offers opportunities to develop and enhance linguistic and cultural skills, preparing students for meaningful experiences across diverse contexts. WLC is part of the College of Arts & Sciences at Drake University, the largest academic unit on campus. Students can choose to major in Spanish or pursue various minors, with opportunities for community engagement, campus involvement, and study abroad. 🌍🎓

Job Summary
We are seeking an adjunct instructor to teach a first- and third-semester Japanese course in Fall 2026. Ideal candidates will have a Master's Degree, language teaching experience, and native or near-native proficiency in Japanese. 🇯🇵✨
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a relevant field
- Experience in language teaching
- Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese
