Organizational Unit & Primary Purpose 🎯
Department Offerings:
- English M.A. and B.A. programs in English, Spanish, and Interdisciplinary Studies
- Minors in Spanish, German, Philosophy, Literature, and Writing
- Student clubs: Spanish Club, Ex Umbra Literary Magazine, Eagle Creators Society, and others
- Interdisciplinary initiatives including Women’s and Gender Studies, Global Studies, Service Learning, Undergraduate Research, and Digital Humanities
Primary Purpose:
- Teach courses in Elementary German I and II
- Maintain 4-8 Office Hours weekly
- Prepare course materials and grade student assignments
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 🧠
Proven ability to teach college-level German to English-speaking students.
Minimum Education & Experience 🎓
Must hold a Master’s degree with at least 18 hours of graduate coursework in German.
Licenses or Certifications 🔖
No license or certification required by statute or regulation.
