We are seeking a hands-on and adaptable professional to join our expanding team. This position offers the chance to go beyond traditional accounting responsibilities, actively helping to shape our organization’s foundation and engage in general affairs and cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.

Key Responsibilities 🚀

• Lead core accounting functions: Monthly closes, financial reporting, and reconciliations
• Prepare & manage financial reports: Including consolidation with the parent company
• Support group-level reporting: Ensure timely and accurate submissions
• Ensure compliance: US GAAP and internal policies adherence
• Support Japanese regulatory processes: J-SOX, TSE disclosures
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Align with the parent company and group standards
• Improve internal processes: Build and enhance controls and workflows
• Assist with general affairs: Administrative functions and operational setup
• Contribute to organizational growth: Cross-functional initiatives and operational improvements

Qualifications ✅

• Bachelor’s degree: Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Robust accounting expertise: Hands-on experience with US GAAP required
• Financial reporting experience: Includes consolidation and group reporting
• Startup experience: Early-stage or dynamic environment preferred
• Language skills: Business-level English mandatory; Japanese skills are highly preferred
• Proactive mindset: Flexible and responsible with a broad skill set
• Knowledge of Japanese regulations: J-SOX, disclosure requirements a strong plus
• Global experience: Working with Japanese companies or international teams is advantageous, but not required
• Industry flexibility: Open to candidates from B2C or B2B backgrounds
