📝 Job Description

Position Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Los Angeles, California

An established international food manufacturer is expanding its U.S. operations and seeks a dependable Accounting Clerk reporting to the Accounting Manager. The role involves managing routine accounting transactions to support our financial operations.

🎯 Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions
  • Verify and reconcile bank statements
  • Assist with monthly budget reconciliation and analysis
  • Prepare government tax reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly) to meet deadlines and avoid penalties
  • Process year-end Form 1099-MISC submissions for vendors promptly
  • Handle confidential documents and data with integrity
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in GAAP principles
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs
  • Highly accurate and detail-oriented
  • Team player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Google Applications
  • Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
