Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. This role suits motivated professionals who excel in fast-paced environments and are committed to providing high-quality financial support for strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• 📝 Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• 💰 Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• 📊 Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• 🔍 Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• 🎯 Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• 🗂️ Prepare and file tax returns, sales tax reports, and other regulatory filings as required.
• 📈 Analyze financial data and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting.
• ✅ Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls.
• 🤝 Collaborate with departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting issues.
• 🗂️ Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 🎓 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred).
• 🧑‍💻 1-3 years of accounting experience (entry-level candidates with strong internships are encouraged to apply).
• 🖥️ Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• 📚 Strong understanding of financial principles, GAAP, and tax regulations.
• 🔍 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• 🧠 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
