About the Role

Account Representatives at Uber Eats are responsible for bringing the best local and regional small and medium-sized restaurants onto our platform. We are looking for someone with a passion for food, a knack for sales, and the ability to negotiate effectively.

In this role, you'll lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to signing partnerships with top local restaurants, all while embodying the Uber and Uber Eats brands. Your success will be measured by your ability to hit monthly quotas, build and manage a healthy pipeline, and achieve weekly targets such as cold calls, emails, and in-person appointments.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a sales pipeline of local small and medium restaurants to secure new partnerships through daily cold-calling (minimum 50 calls per day) and in-person meetings.
  • Create strong first impressions and act as an ambassador for Uber Eats, clearly communicating our value proposition to restaurant partners.
  • Negotiate contracts to establish mutually beneficial relationships with restaurant partners, ensuring sustainable economics for both sides.
  • Support onboarding by helping develop standard processes and collaborating with the Account Management team for a seamless partner onboarding experience.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with prospects via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to nurture relationships.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional sales experience or 0+ years with a Bachelor’s Degree (earned or in progress), including exposure through internships or related experiences.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of full-cycle sales experience (preferred).
  • Experience with Salesforce and Google Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative team attitude.
  • Persistent, resilient, and unafraid of rejection or cold-calling.
  • Ability to think quickly, stay curious, and ask insightful questions.
  • Motivated to learn and grow your sales career.
  • Comfortable with high phone activity (~70%) and fieldwork (~30%).

Compensation & Benefits (for New York, NY roles)

The base hourly rate ranges from USD $28.37 to $29.81. You will be eligible for Uber’s bonus programs, sales incentives, and other compensation opportunities. Full-time employees can participate in our benefits plan, including a 401(k).
