The Account Manager plays a vital role in cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers, focusing on understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including sales, business development, project coordination, and partner management, to ensure sustained growth and customer satisfaction. 🚀
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Engage with Global Toyota, Toyota Group, and Non-Toyota companies to promote TTS US IT services.
- Proposal Building: Develop tailored proposals for major projects aligning with customer needs and requirements.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Schedule and facilitate internal and external meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key personnel across customer organizations.
- Customer Insight: Gain thorough understanding of client needs to propose suitable services and solutions.
- Business Expansion: Grow existing accounts by actively engaging with customers and proposing new services.
- Communication Bridge: Act as the primary link between customers and internal teams.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer concerns promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts for stakeholders.
- Sales Management: Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, managing accounts from a relationship perspective.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Collaborate with partners for joint service delivery to customer organizations.
- Team Support: Assist in expanding the technical project team at client locations.
- Account Farming: Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts through active discussions and engagement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in Japanese and English, with excellent English communication skills. 🇯🇵🇺🇸
- Experience: 3+ years in the IT industry specializing in account management and business expansion.
- Client Interaction: Comfortable engaging with clients and executive leadership.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving ability and keen analytical reasoning.
- Proactive Attitude: Self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks and initiatives.
- Passion & Dedication: Passionate about work, capable of applying enthusiasm to daily tasks and projects.
- Remote Collaboration: Proficient in using collaboration tools (chat, email, video conferencing) to work effectively with remote teams.
- Multitasking: Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Independence & Collaboration: Ability to operate independently while contributing within a collaborative environment.
