Role Overview: Strategic Cuisines Account Executive

As a Strategic Cuisines Account Executive, you will play a vital role in expanding Toast's presence within Mandarin cuisine restaurants. Using a consultative sales approach, you'll convert inbound inquiries, generate new leads via referrals, and establish trusted relationships with restaurateurs.

By delivering an inclusive, high-quality experience in both Mandarin and English, you'll identify each restaurant's needs and demonstrate how Toast's comprehensive platform can improve their operations. Your focus will be on driving new customer growth through calls, demos, and closing contracts in the customer's preferred language. 🗣️

A Day in the Life (Responsibilities) 📅

• Follow up on marketing qualified leads within your target market
• Conduct discovery calls & product demos in the customer's preferred language
• Create and review quotes and contracts in Mandarin and English
• Coordinate onboarding to ensure post-sale success with both customers and internal teams
• Analyze the competitive landscape to effectively position Toast’s offerings

Language Skills & Communication 🗨️

Your fluency in both Mandarin and English will be essential. You will communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers and prospects, while internal communication with Toast colleagues will primarily be in English.

Note: The application and interview process for this role will be conducted mainly in English. Toast will not sponsor work visas for this position.

What You'll Need to Thrive (Requirements) 🌱

• Fluent in both oral and written Mandarin and English
• At least 1+ years of experience in sales, restaurant operations, or related industries
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
• Proven success in meeting or exceeding targets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment
• Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable mindset
• Basic technical proficiency with software tools

Nice to Have (Additional Skills) ✨

• Experience with Salesforce for tracking sales activities
• Knowledge of Sandler Sales Training

Total Rewards & Compensation 🎁

We offer competitive pay and benefits to attract and retain top talent. Our total rewards include salary, commissions, bonuses, benefits, and equity (where eligible). The salary ranges vary depending on geographic zones:

• Zone A: $148,000—$237,000 USD
• Zone B: $128,000—$205,000 USD
• Zone C: $115,000—$185,000 USD
