Job Overview

As a Sales Account Executive, you will serve as a vital link between our sales team and clients, ensuring satisfaction while driving sales growth. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills will help facilitate seamless sales processes and foster long-term partnerships. 🤝

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify sales opportunities and assess customer needs.
  • Lead Generation: Actively seek new sales through cold calling, networking, and social media channels.
  • Client Engagement: Schedule meetings, listen to client needs, and present tailored product and service solutions.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, address requests, and provide comprehensive product information, including pricing and after-sales support.
  • Sales Support: Compare product features and prices to assist purchasing decisions; manage existing accounts, merchandise returns, and accounts receivable.
  • Promotions & Updates: Inform clients about discounts, special offers, and new products/services.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting: Study market trends, prepare sales reports, and analyze financial data regularly.
  • Stock & Event Participation: Ensure product availability for sales and demonstrations; represent the company at exhibitions and conferences.
  • Negotiation & Conflict Resolution: Close deals, handle objections, and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Team Collaboration & Feedback: Work with colleagues to improve results; gather customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Order Management: Obtain orders, establish new accounts, and process order submissions referencing price lists and product info.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients for sustained success.
  • Troubleshooting & Content Adjustment: Address customer issues and tailor sales presentations based on the sales outlet or trade partner.
  • Sales Quotas & Reporting: Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals; keep management informed with activity reports and sales analyses.
  • Expense Tracking & Miscellaneous Tasks: Record expenses (e.g., mileage, parking, tolls) and perform additional duties as assigned. 🚗💼

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Previous success as a Sales Executive or relevant role.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; ability to speak, read, and write Japanese.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong background in food and beverage sales, especially in healthy, organic, fair trade, and sustainable foods.
  • Customer Management: Skilled in managing existing and potential clients, pricing, and credit terms.
  • Marketing & Negotiation: Deep understanding of marketing strategies and negotiation techniques.
  • Personal Attributes: Fast learner, results-driven, highly self-motivated, and adept at delivering engaging presentations.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cultural & Market Experience: Knowledge of market trends and cultural dealings.

Physical Requirements

Must be comfortable working prolonged periods seated at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally is required. 💻🏋️‍♂️
