Driven by a commitment to independence and financial empowerment, Duetti is shaping a more sustainable future for musicians everywhere.

You Will:

  • Engage and identify new artists suitable for Duetti’s innovative financial solutions, developing an in-depth understanding of our offerings and market comparison
  • Manage all sales cycle stages: prospecting, negotiating, onboarding, and closing deals
  • Create and implement strategic plans to generate new leads and expand the artist network in Tokyo and Japan
  • Nurture relationships with artists, songwriters, managers, and industry stakeholders
  • Attend industry events, showcases, and conferences as a Duetti representative to broaden our artist network
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless deal execution and integration
  • Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities and optimize the sales process
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies in the music fintech space

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in artist-facing roles within management companies, record labels, DSPs, publishers, or music finance companies focusing on the Japanese artist and songwriter communities
  • A passionate enthusiasm for the music industry, with strong analytical skills to interpret deal structures and craft creative solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment that values initiative and problem-solving
  • Highly organized, capable of managing multiple deals simultaneously
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, and work autonomously within a dynamic team, maintaining a positive, proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in music, media, or a related field
  • Experience in negotiating and executing publishing deals is a major plus
