As a 2nd Shift Bilingual Plastic Supervisor, you'll oversee the production floor, ensure smooth manufacturing processes, and communicate effectively with a diverse team. Key Responsibilities 🎯
- Supervise and coordinate activities on the assembly line to meet production goals and uphold quality standards.
- Lead, motivate, and support team members, providing clear guidance and feedback in both English and Spanish.
- Ensure safety compliance through regular safety inspections and fostering a safety-first culture.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished products efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels, help organize the warehouse, and ensure accurate documentation of production data.
- Support training initiatives for new employees, emphasizing proper use of power tools and assembly procedures.
Qualifications & Skills 🌟
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to facilitate effective communication.
- Prior experience in a factory or manufacturing facility, especially within plastics or similar production environments, is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Experience on an assembly line or in manufacturing operations to understand workflows.
- Forklift certification or safe operation experience in a warehouse setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to manufacturing, warehouse operations, and equipment handling.
