Position Overview 📝

We are currently accepting applications for a versatile pool of part-time and limited-term faculty positions in the Department of World Languages and Cultures for the 2025-2026 academic year. Positions will be offered on a semester-by-semester basis, with rank and compensation based on credentials.

Responsibilities 📚

  • Teaching undergraduate courses in languages including American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and World Language Education

Assignments will depend on official degrees and adherence to accreditation guidelines.

Required Qualifications ✅

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in the specific discipline or a closely related field, at the time of hire
  • OR Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline

Preferred Qualifications 🌟

  • Native or near-native fluency in the target language(s)
  • Experience teaching world languages and cultures
  • Experience with online or hybrid teaching modalities
