📝 Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Ocean Import Specialist to join our team in Duluth, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience managing ocean import operations, coordinating with international agents, and ensuring compliance with customs procedures. As a bilingual English/Korean professional, you will play a vital role in coordinating logistics, tracking shipments, and supporting customers with their import needs in a fast-paced environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with overseas agents to initiate and manage ocean import processing.
  • Handle customs clearance through customs brokerage for importing goods.
  • Consolidate or deconsolidate containers as required for efficient cargo management.
  • Research and select vendors/agents, arranging timely ground transportation delivery.
  • Track delivery status and provide updates to relevant parties.
  • Manage accounting tasks including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and closing activities.
  • Input service information into the internal system accurately and timely.
  • Prepare reports on service activities for the Ocean Import Team/Managers.
  • Troubleshoot customer inquiries and provide effective resolutions.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc projects as requested by management.

🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean.
