Since Dean Raschke founded Roadside Protect in 2002, RP has managed more than 2,000,000 dispatches and served clients in several different markets. At a time when most roadside assistance companies (also called motor clubs) were outsourcing their call centers to save on cost, Roadside Protect was founded with the mission to deliver a better service when it matters the most - the critical minutes when people are stranded on the road and in need of help.

Since 2019 the corporate call center has grown without looking back. A handful of agents quickly turned into 20, 30, and now close to 150 agents! In February 2021, RP moved into its current corporate headquarters at 1000 W Irving Park in Itasca.
