About the RoleThe Human Resources Manager will oversee and manage all HR functions including benefits administration, employee engagement, recruitment, compliance, and other day-to-day HR activities. If you are an organized, detail-oriented leader with a proven ability to execute strategies, this might be the perfect fit for you.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs Human Resources Manager, you will:
- Lead: Recruit, interview, hire, train department staff; oversee workflow; provide performance evaluations; and manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.
- Collaborate and Strategize: Partner with leadership to understand the organization's talent needs, including recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Manage Talent Acquisition: Oversee recruitment processes including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring; assist managers in identifying essential skills and competencies for roles.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and best practices, while keeping policies up-to-date.
- Design Development Programs: Create initiatives that promote employee growth and engagement.
- Administer Policies and Benefits: Manage benefits and ensure policies support organizational goals.
- Stay Current: Keep up with HR trends, best practices, technological tools, and employment law updates.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- PHR or SPHR preferred
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Bilingual Spanish/English required
- Expertise in California employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated strengths in communication, prioritization, and project management.
- A high degree of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.
