About The Role
PayZen customer service is the heart of our operations; we assist patients in setting up payment plans through our platform and solve any issues together with our providers' revenue cycle staff. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who wants to make a difference to the patients and providers we serve. You'll do great here if you're a creative problem-solver, proactive, and can work independently. Your job would involve a mix of inbound support, outbound communication, and engagement with cross functional teams as the voice of our customers. To be successful at a fast growing company you'll need to possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work well in smaller teams, communicate effectively and be able to engage with customers in a professional, personable and prompt way
What You Will Do
- Create positive interactions with patients using our customer service platform including email, SMS, chat and phone
- Represent PayZen values and deliver excellent service through each interaction
- Influence, educate, and connect customers to technology and share the value of digital payment options
- Work with providers to resolve any issues related to patient payment plans
- As an individual contributor you will identify opportunities for improvement and seek proactive solutions / tools to better the customer experience and streamline the day-to-day of the job
What You Will Bring
- Passion for helping patients
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
- Contact center experience required - minimum 3 years (preferably in a payment plan servicing capacity)
- Preference given to candidates with FinTech and/or healthcare revenue cycle experience
- Experience collaborating with various internal teams
- Ability to work and resolve issues independently
- Experience working remotely
- Adaptability to change including job processes/tools and schedule flexibility
- Fluent in English and Spanish
