About the Role
Join our remote call center team supporting District of Columbia residents with questions, applications, and general support related to benefits and public services. You’ll deliver clear, compassionate assistance—primarily in Spanish—and ensure every interaction meets quality and performance standards.
What You’ll Do
- Provide bilingual (Spanish/English) phone support to DC residents regarding benefits, applications, eligibility, and available services.
- Carefully and efficiently follow all call center scripts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and guidelines.
- Meet and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), including average handle time, call abandonment rate, service level, first-call resolution, and quality scores.
- Document each interaction thoroughly and accurately in the CRM.
- Escalate complex issues per protocol and collaborate with supervisors for timely resolution.
- Protect caller privacy and handle sensitive information in accordance with policy.
What You’ll Bring
- Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- Strong customer service skills—clear communication, patience, empathy, and problem-solving.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and comfort following scripts/SOPs.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to work across multiple systems while on a call.

- You must have: desktop or laptop computer, reliable high-speed internet, and a distraction-free work environment.
